Brian's Baptism

Brian was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

On March 7, 2015.  It was a wonderful day!  He was so happy and excited!

We are so proud of him!  He is growing up to be such a wonderful young man!

Disneyland 2014

The last part of April, we were able to go on a fun family vacation with both Grandmas!  The boys saved for two years to be able to go. 

We had a great time, despite the unusally hot weather.

Brian and Jackson loved all the thrilling rides the most.

They also loved seeing all the sea creatures at SeaWorld.

 

 

 

 

And Universal Studios was a fun Extra.

Jackson's Story

In November of  2013 the Doctor told us it was time for Jackson to receive a new pulmonary heart valve.  We knew it was coming but it was hard to hear.  We started preparing ourselves for another Open Heart Surgery, that they said would probably be in January.   Then the Doctor called and said Jackson was a good candidate to try a new procedure to insert a valve through his veins in the cath lab.   So we went in on December17.   Everything went wonderful and he was in and out of the Hospital in less than 24 hours.  The Hospital wanted to feature Jackson in their Annual Report, so here is the video they made of his story.

 

 

 

 

Halloween 2013

We started Halloween last year with a Halloween Program and Party at Brian School.

Brian and Jackson both wanted to be dolphins.

Even Grandma Eiko came to help with the Party

They both Had a great time Trick or Treating and got a lot of Candy.  Jackson says Halloween is his favorite Holiday.  He can't wait till it comes around again.

From Kindergarten Graduate to First Grade

The Proud Graduate!

 Brian Loved Kindergarten so much, he did not want the school year to end.

 

 

 

 And here he is ready for his First Day of First Grade.   He was so excited he counted down the days.   So far he really likes First Grade too.   Hopefully it will stay that way.

Camping in Yellowstone

 

May 23 - 25, we went on our first Camp out of the Year to Yellowstone National Park.  It was our first time camping in Yellowstone and we had a great time.

 

 

We camped at the Norris Campground, it was really nice. 

 





After we set up camp we explored the Norris Geyser Basin. 

There were a lot of different trails to wander. 

Brian's favorite color is blue, so he wanted a picture with the blue ponds.

After the Norris Basin we hiked around the Artist Paint Pots.

 

 

Then headed back to Camp for the Night.

 

 

The Next day we headed over to the Canyon. 

 Here is one of the many Buffalo, we saw.

The Stairs to get to the Bottom of the Falls.  We should have taken a picture on the way down, but I did not want to let go of the rail to take out the camera. 

There are 328 Steps down into the Canyon. 

 

 

These Buffalo came really close, I was afraid they might charge at someone.

 

Yellowstone lake was quite windy, so we only stayed there a few minutes.

 

 

And our Last stop, was Gibbson Falls. 

 

At that concludes our Adventures of Yellowstone for now.

We can't wait to go again and explore more of the Park.

 

My Two Front Teeth

 Brian pulled out his two front teeth the other day, they had been loose for so long.  Now we get to enjoy his toothless grin!
