Soccer

Brian got to Play in the YMCA Pee Wee Soccer league this past month. He loved being around all the other kids and getting treats after the game. Jackson wanted to get into the game so bad but he will have to wait till next year to play. It was fun for them both. I think we will try basketball next.

Camping 2010

Here are some of our pictures from camping this summer. We really like to get out and have fun camping, it is a great way to spend time as a family with no other distractions!

This was our first camp trip in June. The Boys like to go on "Adventures" with their Dad. And they love roasting Hotdogs and marshmellows!

Our Next Camp outting was with Grandma Eiko on the 4th of July weekend right before we left for Japan. We really like to go camping with Grandma Eiko because she takes great pictures and the boys love playing with her!

Then over Labor day weekend we got to camp for 3 nights which was really nice not having to set up camp just for one night. We also had some great company! Tyler came up with his kids Isabelle and Thomas. And then Ken and Kristine joined us along with my Mom. It was a great campout! We can't wait to do it again next year!

Brian and Jackson's First Trip to Japan

Here we are on our way to Japan the boys did really good on the long journey. It took 25 hours to get to Osaka with a stop in Los Angelos and a layover in Korea.

Finally we arrived at the Kansai Airport in Japan. It was so nice to be greeted by Some of our Family.

We have so many pictures I can't not post them all but here are some highlights from our trip. One stop we made was a visit with my Uncle Heihachiro's House, His wife has a ballet studio that they have on the first floor of their home.

Brian loves any type of animals, so he got to go to the pet store, the zoo and the Aquarium. Here are some pictures of the Osaka Aquarium it was a really neat place with some cool aquatic creatures.

Here are some pictures from one of my most favorite places in Japan, The Todaiji Temple in Nara. There are hundreds of deer that just live all around here and the tourits feed them, Some get a little agressive if they are hungry. My mom's Cousin Yoko and her husband Tomihiro and their Daughter Chieko took us there this trip and we had a wonderful time.

The boys had a chance to ride the Shinkansen(One of the fastest Trains) to the city of Atami to visit our Friends the Ogawa's. And Brian and Jackson visited the Ocean for the time. Here is Brian on the beach with the Pacific Ocean behind him.

My Mom's cousin Yoko put together a cousin reunion since we were coming. It was wonderful to get together with everyone. Here is a picture of all our family that was able to attend.

Brian loved going to the Amusement park with My Aunt Hozue and Uncle Masaki and my cousins Izumi and Asa. We Had a great time, Brian even got to ride his first roller coaster. I wish I got a picture of his face, I think he was a litte scared but he thought it was fun.

And here we are at the Airport ready to head home. It was sad to say Good-bye, but hopefully we will be able to go back soon.

Happy Birthday Grandma Eiko

Grandma Eiko came up last weekend so we could celebrate her Birthday with her. We had a great weekend and a delicious Birthday Breakfast on Sunday. It is always fun when Grandma comes.

In their Sunday Best!

Finally, The Zoo is Open!

The Zoo here in Idaho Falls opened on Saturday, and of course we had to go! Brian has been waiting all winter for this day. He had to have his very own map and he knew exactly where he wanted to go.

The Camels

The Zebras as you can plainly see. I didn't get a picture of the baby Zebra, it was really cute only one week old.

It is always neat to see the Peacocks.

The Lemurs, Of Course. Not to be confused with the monkeys. Brian will set you straight if you do call the monkeys.
We got a membership this year and have already been twice, so you can probably guess where we will be spending a lot of our time this summer.
